Q & A

When is the RSVP deadline?

Try to RSVP as soon as possible, particularly if you are planning to stay in the village, as we need to organise the accommodation. If possible, please let us know by the 30th of June.

How do I get to Puertomingalvo?

If you are travelling from abroad, the closest airports are Valencia (VLC) and Castellón de la Plana (CDT). Other nearby airports are Reus (REU) and Barcelona (BCN). There is no public transportation to reach the village. If you need help arranging transportation to the village please let us know and we can arrange a lift for you.

Can I bring a date?

Yes, you are welcome to bring a date if you wish to do so, but please make sure that you let us know when you RSPV.

Are kids welcome?

Yes, kids are most welcomed to the wedding. If you want to bring your little (or not so little) ones please let us know when you RSPV.

What will the weather be like?

Puertomingalvo is over 1450 m above sea level, so it can get pretty chilly. Remember, you are not going to Benidorm or Marbella, and the weather is going to be quite different! In 2025, the temperature was around 12 °C in October. We hope for a sunny day, but it is unlikely to be hot. Please plan clothing accordingly and, if in doubt, bring an extra layer.

What should I wear?

There is no formal dress code, we want guests to feel comfortable. Make sure you bring a coat or a layer should the weather be on the cold side. Please note that the pavement in the village is irregular so we would advise against stilettos. Sensible footwear is advised.

How can I give you a present?

We appreciate a lot of you travelling a long distance to share this day with us. Being able to share our favourite places with you is truly special and the greatest gift we could ask for.

We do not expect anything else, however, for any of you who are stubborn and wants to make a contribution to our honeymoon it will of course be much appreciated and you can do so using the following details:

Is the weeding indoors or outdoors?

The wedding ceremony, the reception and the party will all be indoors. If the weather is on our side, we hope to enjoy canapes and drinks after the ceremony outdoors.

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear

We are very happy for people to take pictures and videos during the wedding. Please share them with us using this website! However, please note that we have a professional photographer so please be mindful of their work.

It is okay to take pictures or videos during the wedding?

Yes, it is completely fine. If you make videos or photos, please upload them to this web so we can see them as well.
